2. Why I Chose February.

Happy Black History Month Lovelies,

We are officially seventeen days out from my first publish work is out for the masses to consume. I won’t lie I’m very nervous, When I started this journey in 2022 I wasn’t really sure If I wanted anyone besides my close friends and a few coworkers to read the books. I also had a different plan for the way I wanted my books to rollout but hey, God’s plan is not your plan and I have to remember that in this journey. At the time this vlog posts the pre-orders for my e-book will be set to be available by Feb.3rd.

But friends, Can i call your friends?, that’s not what I wanted to write about today, As you know February is Black History Month and we celebrate our ancestors that brought us to where we are now, even in this trying times.

February is also the month of love, being how Valentine’s day is in this month many of us go hard or go home in our relationships, whether romantic or platonic. A fun fact about me I’m a hopeless romantic and try to romanticize things in my everyday life.

For me as a Black-Feminine-Straight presenting person I wanted to honor the work that the ones who came before me did, but I also wanted to showcase the love I saw as a child.

And that Friends, We’ve established we’re friends right?, is Why I chose February as my release month, I hope when Micah and Si’ere hit your devices later in the month you remember this blog post.

Until the next time,

N.A. Sabreen
